AeeDEA 10-Inch Extended Forward Foot Controls with Heel Shifter
A More Relaxed Riding Position with 10-Inch Forward Extension
AeeDEA Forward Foot Controls are designed to let riders stretch their legs forward while operating the gear shift and brake. With a 10-inch extension, the kit moves the foot controls forward to provide a more relaxed leg position and a more open knee angle.
Designed with practical operation and rider comfort in mind, the system includes a brake pedal, gear lever, shafts, mounting brackets, connecting rods, levers, bearings and a heel shifter/shoe protector.
For additional comfort on longer rides, foldable full-size rider footboards are available as an optional, recommended addition.
Why Choose Forward Foot Controls?
The forward control arrangement allows you to:
-
Stretch your legs forward while riding.
-
Operate the gear lever and brake in a more extended position.
-
Adopt a more relaxed knee angle.
-
Enjoy a more comfortable riding position on long journeys.
-
Use the included heel shifter/shoe protector for an alternative way to operate the gear lever.
The kit provides a 10-inch forward extension.

AeeDEA Design and Engineering Features
Full-Size Footboards and Wider Brake Pedal
The optional rider footboards are full-size, providing a larger area for foot placement. The brake pedal is also wider than a conventional narrow pedal design.
Machined Solid-Metal Brackets
AeeDEA does not use cast brackets for this kit. The brackets are machined from solid virgin metal blocks.
Adjustable Brake Angle
The brake linkage design retains the existing master cylinder push rod and adds to the same rod rather than replacing it. This arrangement is designed to provide a stronger connection, reduce backlash and allow adjustment of the brake angle.
Adjustable Gear Leverage for Easier Neutral Finding
The kit allows the rider to increase or decrease gear leverage.
This adjustment gives the rider flexibility in gear operation. Higher leverage can make finding neutral easier.
Self-Lubricating Bearings
Brass and Teflon self-lubricating bearings are used for the rotating parts of the system.
Stainless Steel Shafts and Push Rods
The shafts and push rods are made from SS202 stainless steel, as specified for the kit. This construction is intended to reduce backlash and bending during force transfer.
No Exhaust Relocation Required
The forward foot controls are designed so that exhaust relocation is not required, even when the optional footboards are fitted.
No Crankcase Cover Modification Required
Unlike designs that require the crankcase cover to be opened and the gear shifter relocated, the AeeDEA kit does not require this modification or the closure of the resulting opening.
Optional Foldable Rider Footboards
For riders who prefer a larger foot-supporting surface, foldable rider footboards can be selected as an optional addition.
AeeDEA strongly recommends choosing the footboards for increased comfort, particularly for longer rides.
The kit can also be used with your existing footpegs.
